P700 Charging Issues

I ignorantly thought then, the charger would work thru the isolator to charge both even with the motor off.

It does and should if u have it wired correctly and or if the isolator is compromised in some way it wont. Both my P1 and Talon are charged by a trickle charger this way. It charges the main then the secondary through the isolator once the main is charged. Been like that for years.
You need to go back to the drawing board or your gonna have another problem soon.
