I blew out the same darn tire on the maiden voyage with the wife and 2 boys. Rode 6 miles on the rim. In the middle of the great north woods of Wi. Went to local ATV dealer there and they had bighorn 2.0 in 26", they are great. Their actually almost 2" taller work great at crusing @ 30 mph really lowered the rpm in 3rd. I'd put the same ones on again for our trails in Wi. Sand rock and mud. Handles a lot better as well.

don't be afraid of 27s or 28s. I have 27" Kenda Bear Claw HTR radials much softer ride ,feels like more power. cant go wrong with the big horns probably the best all-round tire on the market and would have bought them if they weren't on every Polaris and can am I see. lol
you will be glade that tire failed after trying some real tire.

I have 27" GBC Dirt Devils WAY better than factory and are pretty good for the general trail riding I've done, grip well on rock, dirt and mud... I don't mud bog though so can speak much on that. They do ride a bit rough below 10mph on hardpack because of the tall tread and large gaps but they don't get clogged.

Do wish I'd gone with 28's, will be going up a size next go round.

You need to know the bolt pattern. What are they off of?

Idk.. it's up to you, but I would regret buying 2 different types for front/rear.

I would definitely use the same tires. There's a big difference in how tires are measured from each manufacture they could be off 1.5" and that's real bad for your 4x4 system since its geared together you could ruin it. Oh and it would look like crap.
