I will be putting on my roof today,,,,,windshield as soon as it arrives..

I am considering the bumper listed below, I have ZERO experience with a UTV,,,I am concerned that this bummer may be to heavy and affect the steering....

It has been suggested that I put Pipe Spacers on the front, WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? Those of you that might have experience in the area?

This UTV will be used on the farm for spraying, spreading lime and fert in hard to reach areas so it will see brush,,,

I really like the idea of having the winch high,,,as my winch problems with ATVs has been due to being wet!!

I have the EMP front bumper. It is nice. Actually, it did not weigh much at all. The winch is what adds the weight.
I have lots of pictures from the install. I will try to post some later tonight. I chose the internal winch mount.

The spacer is to keep it from bottoming out when hitting ruts and such at a higher speed. Though the added weight has a factor it is not the reason for needing the spacers. It's just that the front shocks could use a slight improvement from factory.

EMP front bumper failure.
Well, ran into some problems with the EMP bumper today.
When I installed I was worried about the bottom bash plate. I thought the bolts were too small and the opening should been closed. Well today it proved to be true.

No choice but to winch it on back and finish the ride.

Going to find a steel plate and figure out a custom fix.

I installed my EMP front bumper today. Had a bit of a snag in the bottom mounting holes. Hopefully the picture shows it well enough. The hole for the bumper is about 1/4" too low. And no matter how much prying I can't get it higher. Thoughts?

Are all the other bolts still loose?
The side plates should of been installed before the front plate and the main bumper.

Loose or not the holes didn't line up. I'll try to put some pressure on the brackets and see if I can force it in place.

Not sure you can see it in this pic. But make sure where it mounts to the square frame that the EMP bracket is on top of the sxs box frame. Not below it.

I also have the winch mount
In order of pic.
- winch mount on top.
- EMP side bracket.
- Pioneer frame.

Let me know. I take a closer look if needed.

Yup that's my problem! I put the bracket under not above. Thanks! The directions it came with don't show it in great detail and are rather vague.
