Ordered a plow for my pioneer 700-2. Have the Honda Warn winch that I will use to raise the plow. The problem is that it only has the remote hand switch on a tether that plugs into the side of the glove box. I want to mount a rocker switch somewhere on the dash where it will be handy. My question is, What type of rocker switch do I need that can be mounted in the dash and do I wire it to the contactor like the remote hand held switch is wired?

Left switch is a Momentary on / Off/ Momentary on

You wire it to swap the polarity to the contactor depending on whether you want in or out.

You can pick different colors for the LEDs.

Thanks but I printed off a Warn wiring diagram and it looks like all I have to do is tie into the same wires that my external remote is wired to,except power for the LEDs. Ohanacreek does that winch switch have spring loaded neutral position so when I let go of the switch the winch will stop or do I have to manually click it back to center?

Ohanacreek , how did you wire the LEDS on your winch switch? Did you tie it into your light switch or run power from the feed on the winch so the lights are on with the key? also is the upper and lower on at the same time so I can tie them together with the same feed?

I wired it to the headlight switch so that the lights come on with them.
