I have a 72 cycle country poly and feel it's just right. wouldn't want any shorter. A 66" plow angled you will lose about a foot so that will bring you at about 56" and your wheel width is 60" I think most are running 72".( Just my opinion)

Have have the 72" Cycle Country on my P4 and run the 60" Cycle Country on my Honda Rubicon. I just odered the side panel to keep the snow from coming out over the left side. I have not plowed yet but the wife said she really liked the plow markers.
Ok got the winch all mounted and hooked up today. I cut a hole in the dash to make the switch look more factory, I came out real nice. Tomorrow I will work on getting the plow hooked up and then I won't care as much if it snows...
I didn't like the idea of the solenoid being under the seat, so I used the blue and yellow wires to run to the battery instead of the red and black.
Did anyone use something for a stop to keep the cable stop from going to far up the loop of the cable?

Heard of people taking a small hole, large washer, cutting a slit in it then bending it so it fits over the wire, then squeezing it back together so it want come off or even welding it together.
Personally, I hate a loose winch end bouncing around. I want the stop all the way up to the hook.
But when my stop goes all the way to the hook the loop is already in the rollers, that's what I want to stop.....

Ya, Thats where you have to do the washer mod. So it stops at the crimp where the loop connects.
They also make a different style stop that will clamp the wire wherever you want it.
This is where most people want there bump stop to be like.

I installed the SuperWinch 4500 with the KFI mount and cable stop. Not that hard to install, just time consuming because you have to figure out where to mount the components and route the cables. It also requires some dash drilling to mount the switch and/or wired remote.
Basically, you take your front bumper off, mount the winch to the mounting plate and then reinstall the bumper incorporating the winch and mount into the bottom of it. The kit comes with some replacement bolts for where they are needed. The original plan is for the solenoid to mount near the battery with a set of short red and black cables and then the winch is to connect with the longer set of blue and yellow cables. Under the seat near the battery is not a great place to mount the solenoid, so I mounted it under the hood and then used the short cables to the winch and the long cables to the battery. Worked out fine routed underneath above the skid plate with a bit of zip tying to the frame here and there.
I drilled the dash with a 1" paddle bit and mounted the wired remote plug there. I keep the remote in the glove box and plug it in when I need the winch. Didn't mount the switch at all. Works fine.
Only weird thing is the install manual for the SuperWinch says straight-up not to mount the winch inverted. The lower mount method with the KFI stuff is just that - inverted. Several folks assured me it would work fine and it seems good to go. Haven't really worked it hard yet.
The KFI winch stop is a pain to get over the end of the cable, but it can be done with a some patience and brute force. I'd suggest sitting it out in the sun for a while first if you can to soften it up a bit.
