The label says this stuff is corrosive to Aluminum. Is it safe for the Honda Hard Coat windshield?

I cover my whole pioneer including the hard coat windshield. I haven't had an issue with it. I've been using this product for over a decade now and have not harmed anything with it diluted. I sprayed it on my '97 ford ranger one time undiluted and it discolored the grill.

I typically use it 50/50 but sometimes use it straight for wheels and tires and engine.

reviews on the net are great also!! A few people said be careful using full strength on painted surfaces and aluminum and glass. I also looked a purple power and it said the same thing about glass paint and aluminum I just ordered some thanks for the tip

This is an old thread. I watched it and since I had no idea I didn't comment.
I looked for the Super Clean and struggled to find it because they don't put "Castrol" on the name anymore.
I did get some and I used it.
I stopped at the carwash and spent 5 minutes rinsing the large mud off before spraying, then spent 5 more minutes rinsing.

I'm impressed.

I am thinking about drilling holes in the floor boards of the back seat. they don't drain very well I have even tried lifting the dump bed and hoseing it. or the water will drain and I'll still have a layer of mud laying there.
Got to love the Kodiak mud.

Castrol sold Super Clean about 7-9 years ago to a company in MN (I know them well) Great folks, same great product.

Let me know what you think. Try spraying some straight on your truck tire just to see. It will turn the ground black from all the crap that runs off. I usually cut it 50/50 or 30 water and 70 SC to wash the pioneer.

Not bad-

One question though, how long do you let it sit on there before you spray it off?

It seems to dry pretty quick. I let it sit just long enough for me to walk around the pioneer with the pump up sprayer and then I will start rinsing it off.

It would probably do a lot better if it stayed in contact longer.

Did it work good for you?

I see your driver is ready to go. Did he/she get washed at the same time?

I use the pump sprayer too.
