pioneer honda warn winch problem

I purchased a warn winch for my 2015 new pioneer 700 and installed it. Pressed the remote switch and nothing worked. Checked my install over again and couldn't see anything wrong. I followed the instructions right. The only thing that was not right was the accessory winch subharness showed a blue wire for the winch control instead of a white wire as per instructions. When I checked it out it was wired backwards. They had a green wire going between the two white hot leads to the acessory plug and a blue wire with a pigtail blue that was ground for the control harness. I changed the wires around and everything worked fine.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Boone, welcome to the club.
Can't say I have see that issue. But glad it was a easy fix. Thanks for sharing. Helpful to know this needs to be checked if one runs into a similar problem.

Had that exact same thing happen to me. Took me a few to figure out what was goin on but once I switched them wires everything worked great. Called the dealership I got the kit from and told them about the issue.
