The limb risers are black string tied to the front bumper and go over he roof where I drilled a hole in the roof and tied the string to the ROPS.

I also had this on my P700. @DGann can show you those if he likes.

Me too! I made it through my first ride no problem but on 2nd ride I caught a couple branches that scratched. I've already bought some brand new plastic to put on when I want to look purty but still want to protect the originals when I ride. I don't baby it. We play hard lol

I have had several customers tell me about diffrent things they plan to build and have built. One customer sent me a picture of a homemade rack, which made me think of this topic. I know this Forum has some skilled people in it, so I'm curious to see what ideas everyone has came up with and built for their pioneers!

Added front trailer hitch on front with honda winch setup, so I can move my trailers around easier in tight quarters.

I frikken love this idea. when using the rear seats i have no location for a cooler, now this would work pretty good for smaller coolers. would need some sort of quick disconnect and a hinge system for quick access.

That is sweet.

Is it a store bought rack, or
a fully custom? The front corners
seem to match the hood outline
pretty well.

I made contact with a local upholstery
shop who specializes in jeep tops, etc.
I will get to work on brackets & bows to
get a rear cover going for my 1k3. I was
thinking of a slant back, but I think it
will be just as easy to a square corner
like a soft top jeep. He said he could
add vinyl window & heavy duty zippers
to make for rear access. I have to work
out how to tie the bottom edges down
as well, but I don't think any of it will be
too tough.

Input appreciated on this.

Great thread, also.

John

I built this rack in my shop for the 1000 .The 2 bolts removed at windshield and rack rotates forward. You do not have to remove rack to remove panel to access battery and etc. I Also built rocksliders and added skid plates underneath floorboard areas.
