It took me about 3 hours to design and fab up these 2 brackets and $300 for the shocks. I have more time than money so I'm not spending a grand lol

Did you make the brackets because the shocks were too long?

So you raised the upper shock mount and these shocks still gave you lift?

Yep. Raises it 2" and with the adjustable coils I could get another inch if I wanted. I'm running 28" Zillas without rubbing

So the 19-3/4" shocks would also give lift if a bracket wasn't used. It would be nice if I could get a set to install with out making a bracket and it would allow me to remove my trashy HL lift.

The 19" ones will be a direct bolt on. I don't think it will lift it tho. I have the front superatv lift I'll sell you.

I'd like to do the same thing you've done and remove the lift brackets. My HighLifter adjustable lift is causing major problems so I may do what you did.

I really appreciate your help so far.

I had someone measure a 2015 RZR 900s and the rear shocks removed from the vehicle were 22-3/4" from eye to eye.

For me that sounds like it would give the three inches lift I would like to have.

What do you guys think?

Joe

Joey lift isnt everything you have to find out where the cvs bind at and thats about an inch beyond you wanna go maxing out the axles is horrible for the life of them

Going 3" longer on the shocks, if they do not compress at a static setting as much as the OEM shocks it may bind your CV joints due to the increased angle. One way to test would be to lift / hoist your Pioneer off the ground undo the shocks and let the a-arms droop to 22 3/4" at the mounting brackets and see if there is any binding as you rotate the tire.

I've got a heavy vehicle so it will probably squat a little. Also, the Fox shocks are adjustable. I may buy some soon because I've got to get rid of this HL lift bracket. At worst case, I may have to make a bracket like @bagotaco and check into limit straps. If I can find some pull offs for a couple hundred bucks it would be worth it.

If I get some new shocks, I'll keep you guys posted.

Thanks for this thread.

With my HL on the 3" setting and the vehicle off be ground like shown below, the CV's will not not bind and operate smoothly.

Another note, with the current setup on my P700, the coils on the top of my shocks are compressed. Therefore, I've got single rate coils like the 2014 models. This thing rides ok but it could be better. I'm thinking that the fox adjustable shocks are the ticket.
