Just did some pricing at the local dealer on a 4 seater. As expected, the small town dealer is trying to bend me over pretty bad with an out-the-door price of just over $14K.

Now that there are several in the hands of owners, I'd like to know what kinds of deals are out there to be had. Tell me what you paid out the door, and any possible breakdowns ( freight, ETC ) you can.

Thanks!

$10,699 for 4 seater Pioneer 700-4. No additional charge other than the $50 stupid tax for Mississippi to help pay for ambulance rides for irresponsible riders. Brookhaven Honda, Brookhaven, MS. In and out quickly. I live in TN and will pay taxes there.

Don't want to piss off my fellow members here, but put it this way, I know the owner of the local Honda car/motorsports dealership here and I bought during the Louisiana Tax Free weekend.
Needless to say, I'd prefer to not mention what I paid.

My 4 seater was priced at 12897. They dropped it down to 12000 I know this doesn't count but I then traded in two sport quads that I got 5500 for after all said and done I financed 6850. And am extremely happy with the turn out.

Thanks to all who have posted. As i suspected, my dealer is trying for extortion while dealing with me...

Good deals to be had out there, though.

Lets keep 'em coming folks!

My dealer is asking $100 below MSRP, no freight, 10% off all accessories, no dealer fees, and no sales tax as I own a farm. Does this seem reasonable? Thanks, Dale

daberry, seeing as they are flying out the doors I would say yes. Being the holiday season, I don't think you will be finding many more really good deals. But if you can wait till 2014 you will find some more deals for sure... But how could you wait that long.

And welcome to the community. Got any questions we will sure answer them for you. Can't wait till you get your Pioneer and join in more.
Thanks.

For the options I am looking at, the discount over full MSRP and freight amounts to about 9.3%. I throw out the sales tax because I won't have to pay it irregardless of where I buy. You are correct I could probably get a better deal after the new wears off. Plus it's fall hunting season so sales are generally up now. As a bonus the dealer is local, about 5 miles from my farm, and I'm dealing directly with the owner. Seems ok to me. I may just have to get one!! :)

Guess i should update with my own:
Got a 4 discounted slightly to $11,299. They also gave me $1500 sight-unseen for my old Foreman 450S, which books about $1300 trade in. Taxes and registration brought it back to $10856 out the door. They snuck in the 5 year extended protection plan on me, but at $800 i decided it was worth it. So right around MSRP OTD. Also got 15% off first parts order ( hardtop for $320 ), and lifetime of 5 or 10 percent ( can't remember which ).

Considering how hard they still are are to get in this area, i am happy with the price.
