I can't take credit for this. I saw a picture of someone else's dash and thought it was a good idea and cheap. I just wanted to share it with others so they can do it to their 500, 700, or 1000.

The only paint I had around the house was Rustoleum enamel. I brushed it on with a fingernail polish brush

I'd say that works lol. Maybe as fluorescent marker would be rad for the night rides :):):). We use some at work that show up white and glow in the dark room.

Nice touch. Will try this with a Silver metallic Sharpie pen. I've personalized a lot of my dive gear with them shows up great on dark background.

I personally used a white paint marker and it seemed to work well and it does really help you be able to see the labels. Good post JoeyMT
