Our up north is Prudenville, just south of Houghton Lake.

Welcome from the 👍. My mom has a place we go too up there also. Behind camper world 😉. Hope you get your issue figured out.

@DavidGK Check the two main ground points by the engine. Sorry, but I don't have a manual for your year. My 2021 P1k5 gave me all kinds of problems that everyone (incl. the Honda dealer) said was bad gas. It wasn't. It was faulty ground points that felt tight.
The cheapest thing I can tell you to try is to find both engine-side grounds and disconnect, wire brush, and reattach.

PS: For bad gas, I've had the best luck with Seafoam.

Well, I think we may have solved our issue. . We drained all the gas, put new gas in with a little seafoam. Changed the fuel injector on the suspected cylinder (because the brand new plug showed no signs of burning after it idled for a while). Also put a new air filter in. It still seemed to run badly. After some research online, we pulled and cleaned the IACV. It started to run a lot better with a lot less smoke. I am ordering a new IACV assembly. Once we put the new IAC on, I will update the post. Fingers crossed the new part will do the trick.
