1-3 code and randomly shuts off. Code 13

Started having issues with a 19x today, 2700 trouble free miles up to this point. Started randomly shutting off today, coast to a stop and starts right back up. Seems to run and perform normally otherwise. At first it was a couple hours between incident, but Getting more frequent, by the time we made it out to the road I could only go 1/4 mile or so and it would happen again. Checked and cleaned some grounds that looked suspect, but didn’t help . Does anyone know what the 1-3 code is on a 19x?

Your explanation of what happens matches injector wire issues.
Haven't had many Talons have injector wire issues like the Pioneer 1000's have.

You can test this by wiggling/pulling the wires at idle and see if the run pattern changes.

I just confirmed that you are correct. I just started it and while idling I lightly wiggled/ tugged on the wires going into the connector to the rear injector and it cut out and died. Thanks so much for your help. Ordering the repair kit now.

Ok. I'll add Talons to my list. lol.
Nice. Seems like the wire harness vendor would have fixed this by now..
Its most likely broke right at the head of the connector.

Just wanted to confirm this to possibly help others. The red wire is broken off at the connector. Access is easy from above after removing the air box. Also got same day shipping notice with tracking for the connector kits. She’ll be back on the trail in a couple days. Thanks for the great service

This issue seems to be common for the 1000 engine. Talon and Pioneer.
