Multi 2 way radio mount success

Trial fit between front roll cage and OEM roof too tight. Already have music radio in Glove box. Any examples? Was trying to mount it to minimize direct spray when washing, but under dash by 12v plug seems ideal. Maybe 12v socket plug for quick removal? Also looking for antenna mount ideas, anyone do the front fender/hood like an automobile?

Any way to mount it on top of the dash, might interfere with hood removal? Could run the power cord behind the dash. Under the dash would be the only other place I can think of.

I mounted my radio antenna right on the door latch. I had to drill a small hole for the mounting bolt. The roll bar protects if from getting wacked with branches.

After getting side mirrors, repurposed the clamp from OEM rear view mirror bracket. Lucky even the TYT 8600 radio bracket lined up with the 3 OEM clamp holes and bolts. Nice quick clamp removal. 10 minutes and done.

Very nice - I was just thinking of moving mine to the ROPs and had not even begun to think of using the quick attach mounts.

That's exactly how I mounted both radios using the quick clamps next to mirror.

Had a nice protected hollow space created between stock fender and Mudbuster fenders, then drilled hole for easy pass thru to under hood. Guess Silicone is next since rubber washer not used. Receiving fine and liking the easy radio removal. Might be picking the brains of the Radio guys as I go. Wrapped excess coax around perimeter under hood to avoid a tight coil. Thanks for help.

I mounted my winch remote cable in the same area on the drivers fender. Great space for this application.
