I have had my machine for a week and a half and have been busy Adding accessories. Ordered the soft top and mid panel from the dealer And installed them right away. Also ordered a EMP full windshield, Badlands winch, switch panel, a couple switches, stinger solenoid and additional fuse panel. Plan is to eventually add a second battery and isolator but for now run one battery. Here it is with the top and windshield added.

I did remove the top when I trailered it to my camp for the weekend due to a heavy storm passing through at the time. Not that hard to remove the top and put back on. I may get a strip of Velcro and place it where the top touches the windshield in the middle and leave it on next time.
Here is a photo with the winch and the KFI winch mount installed. Had to mount the winch upside down and flipped end for end so the clutch is on the passenger side.

I did swap out the cable for a synthetic rope. Plan is to run the winch from a rocker switch In the dash instead of the supplied switch.

Had a busy weekend customizing the Pioneer. Finished up the wiring for the second fuse panel, Stinger solenoid, winch, USB charging ports And a second ground with a bus bar Under the driver seat.

Ran the ground for the fuse panel and Stinger to the new bus bar.

Since I dont have plans for all the switch knockouts I mounted the winch remote socket in the panel where the round voltmeter gauges would go.

I used Nilight switches and it took a bit to figure the wiring out so the winch switch is lit up always not only in use. Ended up jumping1& 3 and then connecting to key on power on 2. Works great and is lit up when the key is on which is what I wanted. Ran power for the winch and also fuse panel direct to the battery for now. Future plans is to add an isolator and battery under the driver seat.

I want to power all the accessories from it so the original battery is only for starting and what it was originally set up for.

The build has slowed down some and I have been adding some bling and a few useful accessories.
cup holders for the backseats so my granddaughters have a place for drinks.
190F8793 BA74 4E26 844D D36D87E8F057

Added some side mirrors to try and see if I like them. The jury is out and I feel like I need a center mirror also.

Then I added some bling to the hood and the tailgate.

The last item is the rear window panel to help keep dust off the grand kids when they come with. I have both the midpanel for when the bride and I ride and then rear panel when we have passenger. Will see if it helps with the dust.

Next up will be a second battery and isolator and then some lights But that will be in a few weeks.

The surge in 700 popularity is great to see. I think their about as bullet proof as they come. I have never had a bad time on the trails in mine. Keep the pics and the mods coming.

Added some heat insulation under the seat. Instead of painting it I used black duct tape on the edges that are sticking out from the seat. Also added foam insulation along the edge of the seat. Read on a Facebook page that it helps reduce the heat. Also added a 12” piece of outdoor Velcro in the center of the soft roof panel where it meets the windshield. When trailering with the roof on it air would get under it there. Seems to help after a couple trips to camp at 60 mph no issues.

Latest addition is vents in my EMP solid windshield. Someone local installs them so I thought I would try them to see if they help cool the cab and also maybe eliminate some dust. Today I also checked the valve adjustment for the first time and found the exhaust were pretty tight and the intakes were pretty close. Wasn’t a bad job other than one screw for the plastic under the driver seat wouldn’t come out.

He told me he gets them from a aircraft supplier. I did a quick sea once and found them for about $20 each. He charges $25 each installed.

the latest additions to the 700-4 are rear backup lights using the wire harness from the store along with the work light switch kit so I can turn them on when needed. Pretty straight forward to wire up. Also added a 12” led bar light to the front to go with the Stark replacement LED headlight bulbs. Under the hood I added a True am isolator and a Mighty Max 2nd battery, 100 amp breaker powering a stinger relay and a second fuse panel. Added a dual voltmeter and switches for the lights to my panel to go with the winch and usb charger already installed.Overall I am happy with how it turned out since this was my first wiring job.
