The engine is one of the 1st things that pops out on you when looking at the CTX1300, it's v4 design looks like it is based off of the bulletproof <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_list.asp?Category=1&CatDesc=Motorcycles&Desc=&sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&ModelYear=2014&Manufacturer=1&DispType=0#.UmbCFXCsiSo" target="_blank">ST1300</a> V-4 engine platform. The engine in the CTX1300, if it is the same spec wise as the ST1300 V4 engine it produces 117 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 86 lb.-ft. of torque at 6,500 rpm. Also you can tell from the pictures that it is shaft driven and not chain driven like the CTX1300's little brothers, the <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=350628&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2014" target="_blank">CTX700 series</a>.</span><br />

The picture below shows what Honda has "under wraps", so as of right now it is all speculation when it comes to exactly what those (3) new models will be for 2014. <span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">A lot of information as of right now is currently speculation but from the spy photos, the <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_list.asp?Category=1&CatDesc=Motorcycles&Desc=&sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&ModelYear=2014&Manufacturer=1&DispType=0#.UmbCFXCsiSo" target="_blank">CTX1300</a> looks to have removable hard saddle bags. I have seen talk of a possible stereo / sound system on the CTX1300 but I believe it is just the style of the plastic that looks like speakers, similar to the <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=350628&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2014" target="_blank">CTX700</a>. The CTX 1300 also looks to have a shaft final drive and linked brakes as well. From the pictures it looks like the model shown does not have ABS but it will more than likely be an option like it is on the <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=350628&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2014" target="_blank">CTX700</a> / <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=350599&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2014" target="_blank">CTX700N</a>.</span><br />

The windscreen is very similar to the <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=332385&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2013" target="_blank">F6B</a> <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=332385&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2013" target="_blank">Bagger</a> with its chopped windshield that Honda released as a new model this year for 2013. Also anything styling design taken from the <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=332382&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2013" target="_blank">F6B</a> are the mirrors which house the LED turn signals for the CTX1300. </span><br />

Honda's new Dual Clutch Transmission Automatic Transmission has been a huge hit on all of the models they have offered it on, for example: <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=332523&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2013" target="_blank">VFR1200</a> / <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=350710&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2014" target="_blank">CTX700D</a> / <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=350708&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2014" target="_blank">CTX700ND</a> / DN-01 and we expect the list to get larger as Honda has brought the cost down a lot. To give you an idea, the first model to offer the <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogablog.com/2013/04/Honda-DCT-Dual-Clutch-Transmission-CTX700N-DCT-CTX700-NC700X-VFR1200-Honda-DCT-Automatic-Info-Specs-Honda-of-Chattanooga-TN.html#.UmbC9HCsiSo" target="_blank">Automatic DCT Transmission</a> was the DN-01 and it had an MSRP of $15,599 back in 2009. Fast forward to 2014 and now we have the same DCT Automatic Transmission on models with an MSRP as low as $7,999 on the <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=350708&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2014" target="_blank">CTX700N</a> and an MSRP of only $6,999 for the manual transmission.</span><br />

The engine is one of the 1st things that pops out on you when looking at the CTX1300, it's v4 design looks like it is based off of the bulletproof <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_list.asp?Category=1&CatDesc=Motorcycles&Desc=&sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&ModelYear=2014&Manufacturer=1&DispType=0#.UmbCFXCsiSo" target="_blank">ST1300</a> V-4 engine platform. The engine in the CTX1300, if it is the same spec wise as the ST1300 V4 engine it produces 117 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 86 lb.-ft. of torque at 6,500 rpm. I have seen talk of a possible stereo / sound system on the CTX1300 but I believe it is just the style of the plastic that looks like speakers, similar to the <a href="http://www.hondaofchattanoogatn.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=06968195X10K22K2013J9I55I24JAMQ3194R0&veh=350628&CatDesc=Motorcycles&ModelYear=2014" target="_blank">CTX700</a>. The CTX 1300 also looks to have a shaft final drive and linked brakes as well.
