This is my first post in the group. I’ve read a lot of the discussions and have came here and found answers to questions and concerns I had. I’ll get straight to the point. I myself read many threads saying that this machine doesn’t do well on inclines and in elevation. That was not my experience at all. I recently took a trip to Colorado elk hunting. We encountered very steep inclines with rock(boulders more like it) trees, snow, mud, holes, ect. I had the SXS fully loaded down and also pulled a decent sized trailer full of gear and a lot of weight. I wouldn’t be afraid to say I was overloaded. We ended up squeezing 3 guys in the cab as well. It was tight but we made it work. Anyway the machine did much better than what I was expecting after reading some threads. There was only a few times I felt I was losing power going through some of the spots. Normally it was at a steep incline with very uneven large boulders/rocks when I had the trailer on. Started out at 7k feet elevation and set up camp at 10,600 feet elevation. Going down in elevation wasn’t bad either. I feel the transmission did 85% of the work. Not saying that’s a good thing but it made is so I didn’t have to ride the brakes all the way down the mountain. So all in all the machine was better than I was expecting and I was not let down at all. I have go pro video I can try to post as well but it’s upside down. The pictures will not do the trails and the mountains any justice.

V-i-r-b Edit from Garmin is a free video editing program and will let you flip upside down videos. The HondaSxS site won’t let me type v-i-r-b without the dashes, it changes it to verb or vrib ?

Not going to lie. There was a slight miscommunication on this that caused some tension at the time. We stayed resilient and made it work. Just had to take a trip to tractor supply a few days later. Haha
