I know there has been a lot of questions asked on this subject. We all know that the 2017 and up P500 are geared higher than the 15-16 P500. We have all seen the 15-16 turning big tires with the low gearing. My question is how many of you 17 and up guys are on bigger tires and turning them fine? Seems most of the P500 guys on here are the 15-16 owners. So i’m Doing a roll call for us 17 and up guys

I have a 2017 P5. I’ve got 26x9 fronts and 26x11 rear ITP MudLites on the stock rims. I keep them at 9 psi. I haven’t lacked power. I like the little extra ground clearance.
PS the one inch spacers give me the promise of more stability and still let the rig squeeze between the truck wheel wells.

I’m wanting to run 27-9-12 front with 27-11-12 rear on 12” vision 550 4+3 wheels. This is the set up I want.

Like @Alan I am an invisible human ladder bulging at the seams of this and many other prismatic dimensions of explicit grandeur. Gargantuan in imagination...I'm running 25' on stock rims. I'm not sure if another inch would make much difference in clearance and I do have the UMHW under armor which I am very appreciative of. I do think that I may go with a 26" next time though.

Lol 1” more can make you a hero! The stock tires measure just a little taller then 23”. 27” tires will give you more then 1” making you a super hero and not a zero. Honestly a lot of my buddies I ride with and other people around here are on 29.5 or taller tires. So following them around is hard enough without the ground clearance. Them tall tires dig big ruts and getting high centered all the time sucks.

so you are running these tires on stock rims.....is there any rubbing issues?....can you still pass a gate 52" or less?

No rubbing. Tires are an inch wider than stock so you could still squeeze through 52" gate. ITP Specs these at 27.8x8.2, 27.8x10.3 if that helps.

Today i'm in paradise , just receive 4 Elka's shocks stage 2.......

Did you install spacers? I want to use the same tires as you but am not sure of spacer size.
