Always hog season here in Texas and plenty of opportunities.
Starting to get a few respectable bucks checking does around the feeders also.

Been out in the hotness lately, this guy was at 70 yds. The Hoyte wanted him but too far.20 more yards closer and he would be at Taxidermist.It was funny cause someone crossed my private area with Atv and I was mad. But they pushed him towards me. They left and he went right back.

Great looking bucks, they sure grow big bodies up there.
Here is my Hoyt buck from last year and a nice candidate for this year. This years is a legitimate 14 pt. Just cant see everything from this pic.

If you screw up and push Muleys they will leave the county. Boing, boing, boing. Used to bow hunt in the Sand Hills of Nebraska, they have huge White tails and Muleys. Make Texas deer look like goats in body size, you won't throw one of these brutes in the back of your truck without help!

We have some BIG muleys up here also. This one was from a couple years ago, haven't got another brute like that since. My buddy and I were barely able to get him into the back of the truck whole.



This year, only some ducks, geese, and grouse so far.

Ya they do. We also have Blacktails up here, which are even cagey'r, the common nickname for them is ghosts of the pacific. Heading out this weekend, hopefully get the freezer filled.
