2017 Horsepower - CARB Reports. 500, 700, and 1000!

Finally, the Kalifornia Environmental Protection Agency has released its certification reports for all 3 Pioneer machines. Findings show that the Rated Power (kW), which can be converted to HP (Horse Power), is the same as 2016 models. One thing I noticed is the 500 is still marked as a manual machine?

2017 Pioneer 1000 = 72 HP


2017 Pioneer 700 = 36 HP


2017 Pioneer 500 = 28.5 HP

Why does the 1000 have TWICE the HP of a 700. What did they do different?
I'm convinced the 700 has more to give.

I'm convinced if Honda could shoehorn the P1K into a newly redesigned Rincon, it would stomp the Sportsman 1000's ass into the mud. Just think, 6 speed high/low, with electric shift and power steering. What a monster that atv would, nothing else like it on the market anywhere.

The 700 is a big single, the P1K has an extra cylinder, 2 is always better.
