FYI... anyone have any better luck elsewhere? SSS?

We are working on a Maverick X3 now. I am sorry but I do not have an actual eta. It is on the list for fit checks we have just fallen behind. The X3 has taken longer than we expected.

Mud season is right around the corner... I'd love to have some protection from the trolls hiding in the slop that want a piece of the p4's undercarriage. Was hoping for uhmw but maybe it's time to start poking for aluminum. Or more patience...

Avoid SSS it's THIN and still overpriced for it being so thin.

Looks nice but I'd rather have functionality.

I'm with you on that. I also noticed that SSS does not specify Year. I'm not interested in playing the freight game back and forth for incorrect fit.

Really surprised that no one has anything right now??? I smell custom plates in my future...or, again, patiently wait for TA to take 20 minutes to see if the 2016 plates fit!!!!

Honda says the factory skid plate is same part # for all years of 700. I dont see that they've changed anything.

Feel like I'm beating a dead horse here but.... anyone come up with full coverage UHMW for the 17's? Still on the prowl for the 700-4. Almost 3 months into the year and Trail Armor hasn't confirmed yet. Guess they had to get the Polaris stuff fit up first, then can-am... maybe Honda at some point. Eh, I'm just b****ing....

Happy to say that Nick from Trail Armor confirmed fitment for the 2017. Just received plates and a arm guards. They seem pretty substantial and I will be installing today hopefully.

Front and rear a arms. Full skids with rockers. Left to right fitment on rockers was off but not enough to cry. Been waiting months so move on... other than that... missing ONE cup washer... figures right? All in all I am happy with the end result. We'll see how they hold up.

Great look and I bet they will hold up really well from what I've heard.... One Question: Did you raise the machine way up or way over to put the skids on, or did you just crawl under with the machine with it just sitting on the ground?

I used 10-12" car ramps in the front and a floor jack on the the rear, just enough to max out the suspension. I'm stock height FYI. I was able to slide from front to back on a creeper.
