P1000m5 2018 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 DCT Cover Leak

Hey everyone, I’m having an issue with my 2018 Honda Pioneer 1000-5. The DCT cover is leaking very slightly. I put a new gasket on but it hasn’t stopped. Ever time I wipe my finger under the cover it has oil just barely seeping out. Anyone else had the issue? If so can you help with the fix?

Did you oil the o ring and clean the phooey out of the canister lip, before you installed the cover? Where's the spin on filters?

Really this day and time why not a spin on filter.

Thanks for the reply, I did oil the gasket and cleaned it off good. Only thing I can think is maybe the oil filter gasket is leaking and going down to the DCT cover. I have a new gasket for it as well. I’ll try and replace it tonight and see if that fixes it. I went as far as to convert the foot pound recommendations to inch pounds and torqued to spec.

I wouldn't use a torque wrench on them, some guy's are breaking bolts.

Check and make sure the sealing surface is flat. Could be bent and not making even contact

Think it's time the jack up the radiator cap and slide a new unit in, HA! Just kidding! Let us know if the new o-rings worked.

I realize this is an old post but wondering how you resolved it. Having same issue on 2020 Pioneer 1000-5.
