P1000 2020 p1k

Brand spanking new to the forum. Was quoted $13.6 on a 2020 p1k. He won't have one back in stock for a couple weeks but had him spitball some numbers. Do these sound reasonable?
~$1k for full tilt windshield + roof
~$900 for winch (at that price I'd assume that's for the 4500# vrx plus mount)

I'd obviously get more specific details on which accessories he's quoting me on before pulling the trigger but just wanted to get a little feedback.

Definitely Honda Roof but You may want to consider Super ATV flip up windshield, The winch is fairly easy to install, also The Honda SXS Store has a pretty good deal on winch ,,,,

Definitely Honda Roof but You may want to consider Super ATV flip up windshield, The winch is fairly easy to install, also The Honda SXS Store has a pretty good deal on winch ,,,,

Just looked up the super atv flip windshield. Love the versatility. This is my first sxs purchase, so I'll take any advice I can get. I'm upgrading from a 97' Fourtrax (lol I know, but it's been a beast), which is why I'm partial to Honda.
I think $900 for winch sounds steep, also said he could toss some better tires on for $600, think I can do better for both

1000-3 base

I guess it’s not horrible since it’s a 2020 but I bought my 2019 1000-5 Deluxe this last November for $15,300 OTD. Just some food for thought.

Welcome to the forum! Definitely check out the SATV Flip up windshield. And I think $900 is pretty steep for the winch. Like farmtim said, its a simple install. Have u shoped prices from other dealers? Southernpowersports in Chattanooga has pretty good deals most times.

I'd do some searching here on the site and pick peoples brains when it comes to additional mods. Everyone is nice and happy to steer u in the right direction. 😉 most of the times 🙄 sometimes we just like spending your money 🤣. But have fun and welcome to the addiction

I was quoted $14.2 for a 2020 p1000-3 base at Desoto Honda. I'll give Southernpower in Chatt a shout to see what they have to offer. I'm also not too far from Abernathy, will give them a call as well.

Yepper, that's what I thought too, I'm just going to use it duck/deer/turkey hunting. I use it every day for something other than that. These are great machines for working and playing. Enjoy your new ride and welcome. If you have a question just ask. These guys know the answer.
