I too am in the same boat of choosing between 26’s and 27’s. Definitely staying with a 12” rim but I’m gonna go aluminum- something like the STI HD3. Then for tires I’m in between a 27/28” Zilla (heard they run short), or 26/27” Bighorns. Leaning towards going with 27” because a lot of the general consensus is that these are geared low enough and aren’t affected by larger tires, plus you never hear anyone say they want less ground clearance..

On the right the 24" tire that came on it. The left is the 26" that I put on it. Next time I'll find some 27"'s to put on it.

Thanks for sharing that comparison. Just curious, What makes you want to go up to 27” vs sticking with your 26” setup?

Ive been very happy with the 26s so far. They fill the wheel wells enough to look right and not tiny, and add a bit of height as well. Much better than stock either way

27" Tusk Terrabite radials on 4+3 ITPs here, we ride a lot of hard trails & sand, these do perform better than I expected in the mud.

Here is mine with 26 or 27" Reptiles (Can't remember), Aftermarket rims and 1.5" spacers. I myself would like to upgrade to 30"
I checked mine tonight and they are 27x9x14 front and 27x11x14 rear.

Looks great! Amazing how much meaner and more capable these look with bigger tires. Wow, if you’re considering 30’s you really must not notice any difference in power with your current upgraded 26/27” tires. My dealership had a P5 decked out that had 28” mega mayhems.. man it looked bada$$! I’d really like a setup like that but just don’t want to take away what little bit of pep it has.

The 26" tires are ok but, I think some 27" will fit good with the rims I have.
