Looking to buy new tires for my 2016 Pioneer 1000-3. It has a lift and 30” tires on 14” rims on it now, but the tires are wore down bald from riding on the blacktop.
looking at the 30x10x14 ITP Criptids and the BKT Bogmax tires. I ride on the blacktop/asphalt a lot. Basically daily.

Which tires do I get?

Thank you

I would say neither if you ride a lot on asphalt. I just got rid of my Mudda in-laws because, although they were phenomenal off-road, they aren’t good on hard surfaces. They’re not horrible but not as comfy as I would like.

Ended up going with SATV Intimidators. Great in the mud, on the trails, rocks and woods and much smoother on the asphalt. I have to drive a ways on asphalt on my hunting property but I also have some nasty mud holes on the property so I need a tire that’s good for both. Couldn’t be happier with the way they handle the asphalt. I’ll text them out in the mud on Thursday but even I’ve seen online tells me that I’ll be just fine.

If asphalt is your typical drive I would recommend some 15" wheels with 235 75 15 radial mud tires for a truck. You will most likely never wear those down if you have a proper alignment.

I think I’m gonna go with the 30x10x14 QuadBoss QBT808 all terrain tires.
You’ll burn them up like your other ones driving on black top. UTV tires aren't made for that abuse. Ive been running LT/MT’s for 3 years now cuz I run some black top at times from my cabin. I was waring out UTV tires. My LT’s are dam near new. Best decision i ever made

What are LTs?
My LT/MT tires Lite Truck Mud Terrain tires. Back in 17’ I paid $100 a pice. I think these are $120 each now. FJB. They are 30x10x15 same size all the way around.

They make any for a 14” rim?
Possibly. But few and far between. You either have to become a begger cant be chooser or just anti up and buy 15” wheels. The cost to upgrade wheel and tire aint much more or less in some cases than buying 4 UTV tires when its all said and done. Besides, 15’s ride better on blacktop IMO
