Are any of you guys running a 4+3 wheel on your P500? I’m thinking this would be a better option for me over the 5+2 for a wider stance. I don’t have to worry about the 50” trail Requirements where I live and I want a wider more stable ride. If I’m thinking right this will be the same as running a 1.5” spacer on the stock wheels correct? Also will me front tires stick out farther than my rear wheels with the set up? Any pictures with you guys running this offset would be awesome.

Absolutely! Most of our riding is forest roads, 2 tracks, gravel with a bit of sand and an occasional mud hole thrown in for good measure. On the hard stuff they're quiet, smooth & handle great. I've been in mud/water holes over the seat and they pulled me through. No complaints with these tires. If I remember correctly these are a DOT rated tire, sorta remind me of BFG Mud T/A's.

Does anyone with the 12" ITP Delta Steel 4+3's happen to know the model number they purchased? It seems there's only one that would fit (1221753014), but Dennis Kirk shows the recommended Delta Steels for the P500 as "large bell" and the 4+3 model is not labeled as "large bell".

Neither Dennis Kirk or ITP will confirm if they fit, as they aren't the recommended offset.

Just slightly concerned they would show up and not fit. Looking for a little confidence boost before pulling the trigger.

Thanks.

Here's the set up I bought, I used a 2012 Yamaha Grizzly 700 in the "tire package finder" on the RMATV site to get the size/offset I wanted. This is the exact package on my P5 pictured above, one note.....don't order the lugnuts this way...they don't fit, wrong thread pitch o_O

Perfect. That's what I needed. Thanks for the heads up on lug nuts. I was planning to use the factory lug nuts, but will look into it a little more.

Going back and forth between 26" Maxxis Bighorns or ITP Blackwaters.

Thanks for the help.

Factory Honda lugnuts will not work on aftermarket rims.
Honda has a rounded seat on their nuts. Aftermarket uses a taper style seat.
You don't need to buy them with the rims, but you will need them. Steel wheels I think you can use common off the shelf nuts. If rims are aluminum, you will need spline drive nuts due to hole clearances on rim.
