P700 5.9hr oil filter porn 2019 P700

I know it calls for 20hrs/100 miles but I couldn't sleep after seeing the break in oil filter pics on here.
I feel better now. I used the inexpensive motorcycle oil knowing I will change it again at 20hrs.
I have heard of people using a rare earth magnet on the drain plug to catch the larger particles.
Any thoughts on that practice?

Earth magnet good for catching metal. Im not sure if the plug actually has one in it or not. I cant remember. That filter looks horrid. Alot worse than any of mine iv taken out through the yrs. Any moisture build up in the motor? I know some of the guys a while back in the middle states where the temp ranges everyday had some.

The engine was still on it's first tank of gas when I changed the oil. Just easy break in riding up to that point. No moisture or abuse if any kind.

I just reached 20hrs / 90 miles and drained out the cheap oil. Replaced with Valvoline full synthetic 10-40 motorcycle oil. It shifts noticably smoother and much faster.
I will cut open the filter and look for shavings tonight.

Ride it like you stole it on fresh filter and oil! The second oil and filter change will be easier! Then it will last forever!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA!
