Iv broke a few axels with less lift then what you have 3 inch is probably pushing it to the limit but aftermarket axle will handle it better

It does good until u get in really think stuff but normals it will back out of it if it won’t go through it. What type of aftermarket axles do u recommend ?

I'm running SuperAtv Rhino axles and they're better than stock. They are about 1/2" longer, thicker shafts, better boots

Gotta remember OP, factory axles were meant for factory spec'd tires.

If you start changing things, get ready to go aftermarket on the drive train as well.

I'm running about 5" of lift and so far I haven't broken an axle. I'm sure I will eventually.

Mine would only break when I turned all the way after front shocks were fully extended. I just took the bracket portion of my lift off and left the spacer In The shock I am hopeful I still have enough clearance without over extension of the axles which is what I believe was causing them to break. I lost one inch of clearance but I am still sitting at 14 inch’s in the front. I will post a update after I test it out

I’ve had my 700-4 for 4 years now. Haven’t broken a single axle. I ride hard and push it. 27” bear claw HTR and Can Am commander shocks.

If it can stand up to @scott,....THATS when it’s considered “trail rated”.

He rides HARD but he doesn’t ride to trash the machine.

I wasn't aware of any retaining ring holding the axle in..... (Inside the front diff?)
