Hey FuzzyGrub, see this post for pictures of mine. I am using the Aluminum Products ones. I like them so far, but have not been in a lot of mud. They seemed to wash out pretty good with my pressure washer.

Thx, I had looked at that thread but hadn't recognized that they were AP's. In your picture of the front guards, it looks like the stock plastic boot protectors have been removed. Looks the same on AP's site. I assume they have to be removed to fit them on? Seems like it might be making the boot a bit vulnerable?

You are correct, the plastic stock guards have to be removed, however, the guarding from underneath is really improved. It looks open from the front, but the bottom of the guard seems to knock sticks out of the way before they can come in from that direction.

Thx, I also received the same info in an email from AP today. ie the plastic guards have to be removed. I will look at the other options that don't require removing them. Thx again for your reply.

I have these as well and the front does seem overly open with the factory plastic piece gone, im going to look at modding the AP one to where the factory guard can stay on...

edit: took about 30 minutes,I feel a lot better with the brake line and boot better covered, the lower pic is at full lock.. a little trimming of the plastic down by the lower factory guard bolt and its done, I wish that factory guard was heavier... but im sure its a lot better than not being there at all

Thx, If I saw that, might have still tried the AP ones. I ended up ordering the Strong Made ones, along with the front bumper.
