Picked this up a while back. New-in-box Standard Model M1A. Complete with 2 USGI SA-marked mags and all paperwork, including final assembly/headspace data card dated 10-30-86 and plastic shipping tag.

No indications of ever having been fired. Harrington and Richardson barrel, op rod, and trigger group, TRW bolt. Evil bayonet lug.

Best self-loading production rifle ever produced by human hands.

Included in the box was a catalog from Rock Island Armory, which I think was then a part of Springfield Armory that sold surplus goods. The catalog is dated 1989, which i believe was the shipping date of this rifle from Springfield. Here's a couple of interesting offerings...
