Do yourself a favor and take those American Star Mfg. sway bar links off before you break one and mess up a bunch of other stuff in the process. I bought a set of those to put on my Talon race car and took them off before ever driving it. Complete junk....
The heims they use are garbage, the press fit and swedged bolt deal they have going on is a joke and THE FREAKIN TUBES ARE 2" TO SHORT... If you adjust them to the stock length like you have done, there is only about 3 or 4 threads engaged in the tube on either side. So if one of the bolts doesn't pull out of the heim first, the threads on the heim will get ripped off anyway. Who uses 3/8 threaded China heims for a damn sway bar link end????? Put the stock ones back on like I did and save yourself some headachs and busted suspension parts.
Anyone want a pair of brand new but complete garbage sway bar links that will surely mess up your machine when they break? I'll even throw in the sticker they sent me so nobody knows I bought that crap. Bling-bling!! 😁
