Where have yall put accessory switches? I need to put a couple of switches for a winch and lights but don't know the best place. I don't know why Honda doesn't put some blank spots somewhere on the dash. Thanks

One option. There are some switch cut out outlines molded into the back side of the dash, to the left of the warning label where a Chooglin glove box goes. Agree on why Honda didn’t just put knock outs there.

I never cut mine yet but i be

Now it to figure out what tool to use to cut it out with out making a mess
Did some with wiggling a box cutter and others with oscillating saw. Box cutter took longer but had a cleaner cut. Could make out the lines on front by looking into the glare of light.

Drill the corners from below, and use a hand coping saw blade held in a vise grip- teeth so it cuts while pulling. Cut the hole smaller than the outline and finish with a file. Do some test fits with the switch to be sure it’s snug. 15 minutes per hole

Yep a razor knife and follow the lines, works great.

With my luck, I’d cut a thumb off trying to do that cutting from behind the dash.

Remember, the bezel (trim) on the switch covers/ hides any minor imperfections.

Carry on!

Shame that Honda didn’t make it with those inexpensive cut out blanks. Must have been the same guy that designed the battery cover nuts. Even my ACE has a pre cut blank and lines for another.

They did on the rear of the dash. People would complain that there were outlines on the front if not used.

I agree Mudder. Took my battery cover off for the first time and like to have never got the screws out. I think they could come up with a solution for the nuts
