Adding a 25x50 lean too on the front of my shop. Got half of it put up this weekend. When finished I will be able to put all my vehicles and toys under cover.

We need a LOT of shade here in South Texas. I don't hunt or fish, I spend all my spare time working in my home shop. I will have about 3200 square feet under roof when I'm done. A man can never have enough shop space!!!

You said that well, can never have enough shop space. I remember my first place when I moved out from my parents house, I had a 10'x16' and thought I had made the big time. Next home, I built a 18'x20' and then thought I was done forever. BUT, wife wanted to move back to her home town. Then built a 20'x28' at that house with a full length lean-to. I was set for life! Well, not really. We decided to build outside of town and then I partnered with my father and built this 92' x 44'. I hope we are done now!

Lol.. NOOOOPE!! Especially if you're partnered with your dad and he's anything like mine! Between us.. there are 2- 40x60's, a 50x72, a 24x36, a barn and a 8 unit mini storage building that's 12x60 and I'm looking to build something else here. I swear it doesn't make a bit of difference how big or how much storage you have.. it's gunna get filled up! I do like that shop of yours though!

Very nice Joey, I built mine over the last few years.only thing is I didn't have the funds to insulate it at the time. So now I'm looking into a sprayfoam type insulation.

Someday before I retire I would like to have a fully equipped steel fabrication shop. My next big tool addition will hopefully be an Ironworker. Then maybe CNC plasma table.also would really like to have a TIG machine and get better with that type of welding.

I've done lots of welding because of the body shop background have probably done 100+ full rear clips and many other steel related projects so I'm very comfortable with that but I for some reason haven't had success with aluminum. I have access to a tig and would love to figure it out for cool things. Cnc would be so cool. I too hope to someday have a couple of those things and a larger shop like you have there.

We had a little front blow through yesterday morning, it's supposed to be full sun and in mid 70's this weekend. We have some great weather here in South Texas. It's just HOT & HUMID here most of the year.

Let's just say that both places have their advantages and disadvantages. I like having the seasons here but this time of year is depressing because camp season is ending. I get weird. Then it's cold and nasty so nothing gets done.

Want to bring this thread back up. I know theres a bunch of us at home doing things and trying to not spend a lot of $$$$.

I have been really busy the last couple years at work. I have been just fixing/ repairing what I needed and not getting everything back like it should be.So I have been rearranging my shop and making it more useable.
I have built numerous overhead shelves from materials I already have on hand.
