IMO you'll be disappointed in any 2500# winch on a P1000. I know some rzr guys that buy them and when they quit just throw them away and buy another.

When I was looking at winches I considered a 5000# badlands but decided to buy the Superwinch instead. From what I've read the duty cycle isn't very long and parts are non existent. My Superwinch was $90 more than the badlands.

I got a badlands 2500 on my Foreman. Has worked perfectly so far. But it only weighs 800lbs or so. I have no problem with the brand.

I have one on my trailer and only used it a handful of times, but it will pull a golf cart on it with no problems. If I run into problems, I will just add the snatch block I have and make it work or use the Superwinch on the pioneer or mile marker on my truck. As you can see, I am not brand loyal I just use the best bang for the buck.

I have used Habor freight winches on a lot of ATV and SXS don't have one on my PK5 yet. But at our habor freight store they will hand you a new winch no matter what happens to it. Even if it's full of mud and water no problem getting a new one. We all buy the extended warranty most of the time you want need the warranty but it's cheap for 2 years. I would get 3500 and a snatch block

I agree with @1BadDart , I don't think a 2500# winch is enough for a P1000 and you'll be disappointed with it. I have a 3000# Superwinch on my P500 and a 4500# KFI on my P1000 , both with KFI mounts.

Well I took the 2500 back. I will get something else. I've ordered the EMP winch plate. Any opinions on the viper winches? Or know where the best deal is on the super winches

Amazon has the best deal on the Superwinch. The Viper winchs come with a lifetime warranty also, but I have never had one so can't tell you anything about them. I have heard lots of good about them though, but for me I wanted at least a 4000# and the Superwinch was a no brainer as it was the cheapest with a lifetime warranty with great reviews.

I bought mine as the package deal. For the terra 35 it should be superwinch terra 35sr. You can get the synthetic rope and fairlead on Amazon for fairly cheap.
