April 21-24 we will be at ashland resort hitting up hm trails and mostly the outlaws im so freaking excited anyone from the area please get ahold of me would love to meet some of you guys on an amazing ride

Outlaws is what I'm talking about. Been a good dozen times over the years. Only road the Hatfields to Mullins.

No. There back trails. You or someone in your group better know the way or take a GPS.

@jak9922 if you have a GPS, especially a Garmin the link below has ALL of the WV trails both HM & outlaw trails marked separately, also has POI's for food and fuel in towns about the trail system. Over 4000 miles of WV trails in this free map set.

Well you can get a cheaper Garmin with a 6" screen for $120 or spend about $450 for a waterproof one. It is dog gone handy when going to unknown places.

Oh boy ass puckeringat the monterra!!!! Will any work like one for a car i have NEVER used a handheld gps before ive always used grass clipping thrown in the air smoke signals and followed the path of the butter fly to find my ways hahahahahahah but really ima total greenhorn when it comes to those

Well when your out lost in the dark and you new bright LED lights have attracted the attention of locals that wait until your battery drains remember the above post that $120 could have saved you from dueling banjos and squealing like a pig.

Is this your first time on the outlaws? What about the rest of your group?
First time I went. We got lost. And lost could be a 2 hour ride the wrong way.

Surely someone in your group is able to track.

First time there for us but we all grew up in the woods and very good holding our bearings (minus the beer) we never wrecklessly follow trails with out leaving "breadcrumbs"

Lots of great trails down there but REAL easy to get turned around in the hills.
I live fairly close and would not try it with out a GPS....
