P700 Badlands winch mount ???

I had read that you had to deform (w/heat gun) the headlight housing for a highlifter kit THATS no BS had a hard time with the front!! the rear easy 30min! I have ground clearance now!! winch mount went easy but rain storm hit couldn't dress up the wiring (no pic) still need to install dash switch/remote plug

what winch did you install and where did you end up putting the dash plug?

Badlands 5000lbs (was told it is great for the money) seems to work well, I seen where someone had put there remote plug in the middle under my light up front(can use on either side) put other switch in the dash

Dash switch is left side bought the switch bank off Amazon , gives another power port,battery voltage, usb, and 3 switches, still not complete a work in progress LOL

Last thing to wire is this socket lead on this badland winch. Manual says it need to be connected to an ignition circuit but the wiring diagram show it’s connected to the solenoid. Any help?

Thats so it only will work with key on i put mine on a always hot BUT pulled the black & blue wires (I think) off the solenoid to many grandkids climbing in and out of mine if I need the winch (very rarely) pop the hood hookem up for now

Thank you!! Got her working now(although switch is backwards lol). Trying to figure out how big of a hole I need to drill In the glovebox for the remote
