Want to install 27x9 and 27x11 HTR on stock wheels on the little billy goat, wondering if anyone has done the same?

The stock rears on a P5 are wider than the Fonts dont forget so you might have an issue. If it was me as I did with my Old P5 and all my other rigs. If your going through all that trouble of un mounting and re mounting, I would ditch the steel wheels and get some nice new wheels same size all the way around. Do it once. You dont want to do it twice 😉

Wheels can be cheap. If you find a set you like on here you can open a chat window with these guys and they can give you a better deal on a set. I like these guys and have purchased a total of 4 sets from them. I have had good luck with these guys.

I'm running those tires in those sizes, but on 12" aftermarket steelies with 4+3 offset (probably more guys run 5+2). You'll need spacers to run them on the OEM wheels, I'm thinking. I love the tires. Not a good pavement or turf choice, but if your buggy will be used for off-roading then you're golden.

I'm running same as futzin - HTRs - 27x9x12 up front and 27x11x12 on the rears with 4+3 offset rims....ends up being pretty much even front to back.

I recently bought a pioneer 500 and am wondering what the largest tire is that would directly replace the stock tires with the stock rims without any modification? would 27x9-12 front and 27x11-12 rear work? Thanks

Yeah no problems with 27’s…after that it’s hit or miss depending on the tire
