This will give a pretty good look against factory. But others can be had as well

This is my favorite , it is @sthomp54 glove box. He used Rustoleum truck bed coating..........pretty much the same stuff @CumminsPusher posted !

It's actually darker now with a better matching paint but this is the only pic I have of it.

I ended up tightening the nut on the back all the way. Then tightening the jam nut. Is that what I was supposed to do? I don't see how it would matter, just thought I'd ask

I would tighten it just enough to secure it. Don't tighten it so much that it pulls the dash inward !!!

Sthomp's looks amazing, even the texture. I just have to be different.

I went out and loosened it and tightened it back. I paid attention to how much it pulls the dash this time, and it is very little. So all the way tight is ok I guess.

Must be some variances from one machine to the next. I had to add a small bushing for a spacer as it was sucking my dash in.

Did you buy that sticker from the forum vender, or elsewhere. And was it available in other colors, or just black??

Did you use the nut and locknut provided , or just 1 nut ? There should be no need for a bushing !

No, didn't have the back up nut, that's better for sure. But no worries, it's just fine. Absolutely no complaints.
