Locally there is a guy selling two sets of 12" factory CanAm wheels with tires. I intend to switch to 28x10x12 all around eventually due to many recommendations here.

I'm pretty broke at the moment, but this seems like a great deal. Canam 12" black wheels (scratched up a little) with new terrabytes 27x9 and 27x11

the other set is factory 12" beadlocks with 27x9 and 27x11 bighorn 2.0's with a few miles on them.

He only wants $300 for either set. I don't want/need beadlocks so I'll go for the set with new terrabytes (love those tires)

I read here that the wheels will bolt up, but are the offsets any different from the factory P1000 deluxe wheels?

Are there any issues at all with using these wheels?

Should, but you left out alot of info for anyone to know.

What's the bolt pattern?
Should be 4/137 bolt pattern. Your Pioneer is 4/136. Just a hair different but many 137's fit no issues.

What is the offset?
Quick research shows X3 and Pioneer 1000 are about the same.

Finally,
I know you are getting a "deal"... that's cool.
27" tires are better than 26" ones.
But like you said, many see 28's as the upgrade choice!

Look for ones off an x3 w 14s either 28 or 29 I’m running the 29s no rubbing w stock suspension,u will need 1” spacers in rear.under full lock in the ft the wheel will rub on small metal tube that’s welded on the back side off lower a frame u have to cut that tube off.mines 2016 delux 5 1000

The spacers on the rear are just to make it even w the ft .there is no rubbing issues if u don’t use the spacers.let me see if I can figure out how to send a picture

It's super tough to figure out how the offset of the Canam wheels compare to the Pioneer. All I know is that they are 12" and from a Maverick. Well there are about 34 different Mavericks and not just one set of wheels. Also I don't know if they are the same width front and rear. IDK. I don't see anyone here running factory Canam wheels to talk to either.

For me, the Terrabytes are an upgrade over the factory tires even if they aren't any taller. More durable and I have found the tread to be very effective for me and my riding when I had them on my 500. Yes, 28" would be preferred but I think i'll be okay for a while longer on 27" for the price of this set. If nothing else, the 8 ply rating of the tires is a big advantage for me.

I have a P1K5 non-deluxe and i bought a set of 30in silverback take offs from a can-am and they bolt right up. The tire shop didn't indicate which can-am they came off of being a mud tire it's a safe bet it was a XMR edition.

Do the rims seem to have similar offset to your factory rims? I don't want to gain any width. Also, are they 12" or 14" rims?

The offset is similar to the front, the rear factory's are wider these are 30x9 on all corners. The only poke out I have are the 2-3 finger tall lugs that wrap around to the sidewall and thats only on the front the rear are tucked in a little.

My buddy is running Can Am wheels of some sort. Is it same as ones in pic that you are asking about? If so they fit fine. He runs spacers front and rear so not sure if they will fit without. Maybe he can answer more for you

I have had no issues with my can am wheels besides the lugs being tight but was able to drill out and have no issues don’t need much to fit right just real snug on studs had no issues with or without spacers

The wheels in the picture are stock wheels off an x3 can am they are 14” headlocks .the x3 turbo models are the ones with the same bolt pattern as pioneer 1000s, 12 inch wheels would make me nervous considering 14” rub as I described earlier.the front rim off set on the x3 is 6 to 1 same as pioneer. The rear off set is narrower. The bighorn tires that come on the turbo x3 can ams have 8 ply rated stamped on the sidewalls.

I would not buy 12” rims ur tire diameters are way too limited.u want 28” tires or larger

Buddy took wheels and 30” mudzillas off of his canam Xmr 4 wheeler all we had to do was drill out holes to 31/64 to fit Honda 1000. Canam runs 10mm studs while Honda runs 12 mm

So I bought some canam x3 wheels. (Haven’t picked them up) will I have to drill out the holes on the rims to fit on the studs?
