the only thing with car tires on a trailer is some insurances will not cover damage to what is on or in the trailer if it doesn't have ST on the tire.
This happened to me and lost to the deep pockets of the insurance Co. (State Farm)

Good to know. I had a problem with state farm insurance 30 years ago and I still won't use them.

Trailer tires on tandem axle trailers hold up better when turning or maneuvering the trailer.

Flipped the axle on my trailer and mounted 29" tall Goodyear Wrangler AT truck tires on it and it has been awesome.

Got two of these delivered to my door from ecustomhitch on eBay. $330 Price was for two Rainier brand (China) tires 205/75/R15 Load Range D (2150lbs @ 65psi) mounted on aluminum rims. Unfortunately they don’t balance them.

They have a website as well but seem to have better prices on eBay where you can make an offer.

They will prob dry rot before wearing out on my 3500lb trailer.

They sell Goodyear endurance as well but they are a lot more $$$

Here are a few before pics of my crusty tweaked trailer. A tree fell on it and bent the passenger side top rail, fender, and lower frame rail and it sat for years until I bought it . I backed it into my pole barn so I could keep working in the rain but the lighting sucks in these pics.
Also, it only has one tire mounted on the passenger side rear and one good tire on driver front and a flat on driver rear so the trailer looks way more bent than it actually is when leveled.

I jacked the trailer up on blocks to get the frame rails level, removed all of the boards, cut the bent top rail and fender loose, and found a couple of tweaked cross members.
The main frame rail checked out nearly perfect with a straight edge after using a sledgehammer and come along to straighten the cross members. One of them had the passenger side front leaf spring mount welded to it, along with the main frame rail, and I believe that was what caused the trailer to be out of level.
Now I have to reinforce the cross members and a few other spots before moving on to replacing fenders, etc.
I'll try to take pics.

Here it is loaded for our weekend riding trip to Piedmont, MO near Clearwater Lake. I still need to install some diamond tread on the side steps and install some marker lights and D rings but it was close enough for this trip.
The riding was great and I was the only Pioneer in attendance with a huge group of Razors and a few Can Am's. Most of them already ride with me regularly but those that don't were impressed with the performance of my P1K5.
