P500 Chain saw mount

Big brown truck dropped by with saw mount, Northern Tool, $28. Will try on cargo carrier mod. Thinking of zip tie plastic blade sheath in place for mud. Anyone have feedback on these??

I don't really have a good way of attaching a mount so for me it's a plastic chainsaw case riding in the box. I wish Honda had a headache rack on the front of the box similar to what CanAm has available on some of their models.

Which Honda do you have? I have the bed liner for my P1-5 and it has slots for a 2 X ? at the front of the bed deep enough for a chainsaw, gas can and bar oil and don't have to strap the in or worry about hitting the saw with a tree. Works great!

Got my chainsaw mount built and installed, that's it for this year.
