P700 Chop top / flat roof idea bounce

Looking for some input here. If I want to park a P700-4 in my basement there's no doubt about it I will have to chop the top. I'm not crazy about the shape of the P700-4 roof to start with, so if I'm going to start cutting I may just do some kind of flat roof. I think a fully flat roof will look too golf cart-ish so my idea is to have it higher in the middle and slope down to the front and rear.

I'm open to all suggestions, but particularly on what your thoughts are on leaving the middle post curved at the top, or cut the curve off and extend it straight on up to where the peak will be. My photoshop skills are non existent so here's the best I can come up with on paint. Sorry to whoever's pic I stole with the people in it, but needed some idea of where heads will be

Looks pretty awesome. I don't remember seeing too many that made the 700 flat, but there is a few that cut a couple of inches out of it. I think @LandPioneer was one of the last ones to do it and his looks really nice. I'm waiting for your new ride to see all your future mods happening.

Ah thank you! It looks like he went a little lower in the back than I could get by with a 4 seater but nice to see a representation.

I went 4.5" in the back and have more than enough room. A 6ft + person could easily sit back there.

Would you like to chop another 700-4?

How would that slope toward each end be in the rain if it was higher in the middle . It might not be what you like but the pictures I have seen with a flat roof looked really good to me.
