First off, mine are NOT slipping. But it takes a split second longer to get all the way into 3rd gear. It's like the solenoid is delayed for .0001 seconds now. Other shifts are hard and sharp. Think a relearn would benefit me? I don't want to chance ruining how it shifts the other gears so I'm skeptical about trying it. It started this couple weeks ago after fixing my frontend.

Sometime I stink at explaining things so let me add this. Before, the solenoid would CLICK getting to 3rd. Now, it's more of a CLIIICK. Once it's in gear, it's in for good. Zero slipping.

Haven't tried it in auto. 99% of the time I keep it in manual mode.

Sorry man. I can't help. I haven't done a relearn either

CP: This group looked for anything rough and had a great time. It wasn't all about who was the best or correct line just some good ol boys with a beer and a 4wd.

Best bet would be oil/filter and a reset. A reset isn't a bad idea imo with some mile laid down. The procedure is a pita and will probably take a couple shots

Sounds like a plan to me then. I'm kinda cautious about doing it since it does everything else very well. But I guess it might could use it after 1900 miles. Those fibers bound to have some extra clearance between them and steels. A relearn might be the trick.

The reset itself may not help but I sure don't see it as a negitive. Can't go wrong with new fluid.

The relearn won’t take, anyone know why? What needs to be done from here?

Thanks buddy, I’m new to this group, I’ll do that! I’ve looked and looked and searched and haven’t found where anyone posted a fix to this problem, I’ll read the posted material though and make an introductory post!
