Coalmont ride Father's Day weekend

Headed to Coalmont OHV park Father's Day weekend of June 17-19. Anyone interested in riding for a day or two I'd be happy to meet up and hit the trails 🤘

So, I don't have a fancy Trails app but I did an update on my GAIA app and found a bunch of mapped out trails for the OHV park and surrounding areas

Anyone else out there have some trails or POIs I should know about please share 👍

I can't fit it all in the screen but, this is the bulk of the trails I found. Coppinger cove, some falls, and a few other un-named tracks.

Yeah, I've read through a few of those threads from back in the day and seen a lot of the pictures and videos from the rides.

I'm going to tag some of the OGs and see what they have to say 😉

I’ve been several times it has some pretty areas but at times the trails are a variety of every thing. These are all the pics I have. I deleted the church and waterfall pics. Also there can be some weird folks back in there a few miles but they were nice

Did you find the coppinger cove trails on Gaia? I have Gaia but can't find those trails.

Yeah, the app just updated last night though so I'm not sure if it's new or was there already....

I went to the Coalmont area and zoomed in, click on the trails that show up. There's a few named ones and a lot more un-marked. I saved them for off-line use also just in case.

I don't have any of my tracks. Sorry.
I need to do a better job keeping them for sure.

As for POI's. The AC Cave needs to be on your list. If you have some skilled riders, have them try to get inside and all the way to the back. It's a challenge for sure.

Anyone can drive them on the wheels. It takes extra talent to drive them on the sides. Lee has lots of extra talent!
