GO TO PAGE TWO FOR 2.0 update

I got a custom built cage and flush mount roof for sale. I got a good friend that is an engineer that build it at his machine shop so it is built well. I'm selling this one so we can start building a new one with a few minor changes so they can start producing these to the public. I got the whole build in another post that I will post as well. But here a few pics. 1200.00 dollars.
Will travel up to 30 miles. I'm located in Fitzgerald Georgia.
1/8 inch aluminum roof is powder coated flat black with texture and the coll cage is powder coated gloss black to match the lower portion.
Direct bolt on replacement. This set up is 6 inches shorter than my factory roof with oem plastic roof.

Looks awesome, I know the height of the humps on the 700 are for safety, the shorter flat roof looks much better.

i agree that it looks much better. gives it more of a "1000" look. They done a computerized strength test on the new tubing v's the OEM ROPS and it was slightly stronger.

Has to do with tip overs on a side slope, the high prevents it continuing to roll if the slope is less than a certain degree.
Its a ROPS not a roll cage its not intended to end over end down a hill.

i figured it had to have a reason behind it being so high and I agree the factory ROPS(nor the one I'm selling) was designed to be running in the Baja 1000! I seen a few bend and tweek with a minor roll over. One of the main reasons I had this one designed was so I could fit back in my garage.

Would any of the windshields work on it?
I'm running a dirty product half shield and it goes right to the bend and fits it like a glove. But if you wanted to run a full windshield you would have to get a bend put in it to match the angle of the tubing . Any machine shop could do it for probably a few bucks.
