Does anyone know why there is a small aluminum finger protruding into the sleeve area of the cylinders? This makes it impossible to bore and hone the cylinders properly.

I think you are seeing the piston oil squirter. There is a bolt to remove it.

That's the piston oil squirter, it unbolts from underneath. We had our last set of cases sleeved so it's no impossible.

I think you are seeing the piston oil squirter. There is a bolt to remove it.
