Denali snow plow poly wear bar

Has anyone installed a Moto Alliance poly wear bar on the Moto Alliance Denali plow? We just had our driveway upgraded from gravel to asphalt and I ordered and installed the poly wear bar to replace the steel bar and protect the asphalt. after installing, I had to remove all of the spacers on the skid feet just to get the bar to touch the asphalt And the leading edge is slightly above the asphalt. It seems odd to me, but I don’t have any experience with a poly wear bar. I assume the idea is for the wear bar to wear in correct angle to the asphalt? Any help would be appreciate.

For an asphalt or concrete driveway, this is what you want. The one I put on my plow ~10 years ago still looks like new. It glides over any crack or crevice.
