I am in London KY right now and need a sub transmission drain plug. I cant figure out what thread pitch it is in order to get a bolt or drain plug to get me back going. The closest i have found is a 12-1.75 but it stops after a couple turns.

If i was home id iust order a new one through my dealership, but im from Northern Michigan, and came here for a vacation with the buggy. We are supposed to be riding wildcat offroad and then down into Windrock.

Id be willing to be taken advantage of at this point so i dont spoil everyone's fun.

Anyone able to get me one in the next couple of days, or know what thread pitch will work. Im willing to drive a few hours if need be.

Was humiliated that a Polaris had to pull me out of the park yesterday.

Once the oil ran out i got the oil warning light and it shut off and acted like its in nuetral. Will i be able to get it goinv once i get a plug and fluid?

Is it a possibility that the dealer cross threaded or stripped the threads that's why you can't find a match?

You sure SUB TRANSMISSION? There is 3 bolts. Its the frontest one and it enters from the side of the case not straight down like the other 2?
BECAUSE.... Asking because the other 2 plugs are 12mm.

I may be wrong on side entry vs down.

But.. I know the front drain, (Sub trans), is a bigger, the oil pan and oil tank are the same size.
Sub trans is 14x1.5
Oil pan/tank is 12x1.5
According to info I have found.

It actually sounds like you lost engine oil because you would not get a oil warning light if you lost your sub transmission oil.
