I'm looking at picking up a p500 next set of days off. Unfortunately it's 500 km away and I haven't ever seen one in person. The salesman at Honda says that at 6'5 I may not fit. I'm looking for an ATV that will fit in the back of am f350 with the 6'8 box. Any one tall have any pics from the inside to give me an idea of the leg room?

I'm 6'3. I'll send you pics when I get home. I can tell you it's going to be tight especially your left Knee.

Ya with the stock suspension it wont feel great on a bumpy trail. I really don't think you will find anything innately 50" foot print that will work. One positive is the bench seat will allow you spread eagle. LOL!

If you have any left leg knee issues, then I’d say don’t do it. There’s very little room on the left for any leg movement. It’s why I upgraded to a 1000-5. After two years, I couldn’t take it anymore. I’m 6’9” tall. Otherwise the 500 is a very capable machine

Thanks for the input. You used it for 2 years at 6'9? There's hope then. Don't really have room for a trailer so my options are limited.

I have really messed up knees too. So, if you don’t have knee issues, you may be fine. The 500 is an amazing little machine.

My knees are pretty good. I used to be a scaffolder and it's hard on the knees, but since I started running equipment about 6 years ago it's cleared up completely. If I had room for Trailer I'd go all in for the 1000 but it would be nice to be able to throw it in the truck and still tow the camper.

In what Canadian town do you live? There may be an active member living close to you that would be happy to give you a test ride.
I'm in fort McMurray. Northern Alberta.

I have both RZR 900 trail and Pioneer 500 . Sit in both . Totally different and both will fit in your truck bed . The wildcat 50" is to small for me at 5'10" .

You could always get an aluminum over cab ramp set up for a larger UTV. P5s are great little machines, not quick, but very durable. Have +- 4000 Kms on my 2015, oil changes air filter cleaning, couple torn axle boots (my fault), not even a spark plug yet. Hope it fits you.

I pull a 700 in a short bed with a 27' trailer behind, with some over cab ramps. Tows fine though kills fuel mileage a bit. I have never sat in a 500, but I'm 6'1" mostly legs with plenty of room in the 700.

Thanks for the image, Groms (great setup) that’s what I was thinking @Bridgie, so either way P5 or PK you can still pull a TT.

i wanted the 500 too at first till I sat in one at the dealer and a 700, those people put in trucks at 60 wide, but it gives you way more room, the 500 had no leg room or butt room and you need to fit a bunch stuff in it for food and tools and winch, me and my small daughter couldnt both fit. I am 6ft and 250, the 700 gives you a ton more stability locking diff, big dumping bed, a ton of leg and head room, you can actually fit two average adults, plus boots and heavy coats you wear alot
