Unless you are in the process of hunting game during hunting season discharging your firearms anywhere but on the range is frowned upon. Not illegal, but people do live inside the TWRA and may not take kindly to outsiders disturbing their peaceful environment. You could end up re-enacting that scene out of deliverance should you make yourself unwelcome.
